Soybean is the major crops in Nandurbar districts. It is good source of protein ,oil and health promoting phytochemicals

for human nutrition around the globe.It is the leading source edible oil constituiting about 30% of the world supply. Soy

products are nutritious,economical and Healthful.Use of 30-40 g of processed soybean in daily diet Protects human health and

enhance the longetity. Soybean In an average contains about 40% protein,23%carbohydrates, 20%oil and reasonable amount

of minerals, vitamins and dietary fibre.

Soyabean and Human health

  • Lowers blood cholesterol, relaxes constipations, good for diabetics.preveents cardio-vascular diseases. Overall health promotion ,prevents cancer,helpful in menopause and osteoporosis.

processing and health benefits of soybean. Krishi vigyan Kendra conducted demonstrations, training programmes and

value additions of soybean.Soymilk,soydals, soyata, soyanuts,soybiscuits has been taught to self help group ,Aganwadi workers.
