intake of pulses and very little of vegetables (all types). Kitchen garden was developed as a solution to this imbalance
in daily diet. The resource persons developed a specific design of kitchen garden for ensuring proper nutrition. The kitchen

Cluster beans, Field beans, Bottle guard, Spinach, Fenugreak leaves, Coriander leaves, Amranthus, and Sponge guard.
These families with few exceptions like field beans did not grow any vegetables before the project intervention.
They occasionally bought potatoes, brinjals, tomatoes, and chillies from the weekly market.
